Outdoor shoot with Alex

Here we have Alex again, only this time we shot outside. These were all taken with natural light, no flash. We went to the Japanese Strolling Garden at Nathaniel Greene Park. These were my favorites of the bunch!

First Studio Shoot

This lovely girl is Alex, Katie's best friend. She is expecting her first baby in September and graciously allowed me to photograph her for her pregnancy. These are my favorites from my first try at shooting in a studio. The man who owns the studio set up the lights for me and rearranged them for me when we tried the silhouette shots. It was a good learning experience and a lot of fun.

Beantown-Boston

Granary Cemetery. One of the oldest cemeteries in the country. John Hancock was also buried there along with Paul Revere and possibly 5,000 other people. They were buried stacked on top of one another. The headstones had been moved from their original spot into more orderly rows to look nicer and make way for the walkways. Below, the red brick trail clearly marks the Freedom Trail for anyone wanting to walk the trail of history and learn about these important places and events.

The Park Street Church balcony to the left is where one of the first antislavery speeches was given by William Lloyd Garrison.

This photo is the Market square area with lots of vendors that cater to the tourists. It was a fun morning out with some of the other wives at the conference.

Springfield Cardinals Baseball Game

Last night we were invited to watch my father in law throw out the first pitch at the game. And WOW, what a pitch it was. The ball made it all the way in. It was an exciting evening and we had a good time. As you can see below, Aaron participated in one of the the games they play between innings. He had to nod his head as many times as possible for 1 minute. He did great!
